New Delhi. BMW India has introduced its all-electric SUV iX in India. The company claims that the BMW iX pure electric SUV uses a dual lithium-ion battery pack, which offers a range of 425 km at a time. That is, on a single charge, it will cover a distance of 425 km. The price of this car is Rs 1.16 crore (ex-showroom).
BMW iX can be charged with both AC and DC fast chargers. A 150 kW DC fast charger can charge the BMW iX up to 31 percent in 80 minutes, allowing it to comfortably cover a distance of 95 km. Using a 50 kW DC charger, the electric SV can be charged up to 73 percent in 80 minutes, while an AC charger charges the SUV full in seven hours.
The exteriors BMW
The BMW iX design features sharp dual-beam LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. It also gets a large kidney grille and a hand-designed bumper and a 3D bonnet. The side profile of the car is sporty and large alloy wheels, flared shoulders, rectangular wheel arch, frameless windows, body integrated door handles and the clean look of the car makes it quite attractive. On the back side of the car, there are sleek LED taillights.
In terms of the interior of the car, the BMW IX offers all sorts of layouts and features. It includes the driver’s side 14. The 9-inch touchscreen gets curved glass infotainment display , a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, race-car-inspired hexagonal steering wheel, Sky Lounge panorama glass roof, multifunction seats with massage function, leather upholstery, ambient lighting and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system. It has a 1,750-litre capacity boot storage.
6.1 speed in 100 seconds BMW
BMW IX accelerates to 6.1 0-100 kmph in seconds. The car gets three driving modes Personal, sport and efficient. The IX electric SUV also has sensors, camera and radar technology, flush door opener, washer under the front logo, a camera with a washer under the rear. Despite being an electric car, it also offers driving sound through IconicSounds Electric technology.
